Sheep Nuts, Badminton Country, 20kg   Badminton Country Sheep Nuts contain quality protein and a higher energy to help maintain condition, especially during pregnancy, aid lactation and support good lamb growth. They contain a full inclusion of vitamins and minerals and no growth promoters making them the ideal complement to forage, roots or grazing at any time of year.
Easibed Woodshavings, 20kg          £7.05   Although this is primarily horse bedding, we use this for our poultry, specifically as flooring for chicks.   Manufactured from carefully selected recycled whitewood fibre, easibed is one of the ‘greenest’ bedding products and makes a warm, comfortable, supportive, free-draining bed that stays dry on top. Horses on easibed also stay cleaner as it doesn’t cling to manes, tails or rugs.
Raised bed timber planks 13 foot x 9 inch x 1 1/2 inch. These are new and untreated.   We are using these for our raised beds and as edging boards for keeping the mulch in our paths.  £7.50 each
Unibed Poultry & Game Bedding    Made from dust-extracted finely chopped straw, it is treated with a non-toxic disinfectant that is Anti-Viral and Anti-Fungal. Suitable for all types of housing from a few garden pets to intensive farming that requires a deep litter. It is also suitable for pigeons and, because it rots down quickly compared to wood based products is a welcome addition to the compost heap.   We use this in our hens' nest boxes. Because it is treated with a herbal disinfectant, it helps to keep down mites in the nest box.   Bale (20kg) but smaller bags are available.
